| so my z has been in my parents garage in nc for the last 4 years, after a botched timing belt change right before heading back to college in miami forced me to abandon it. been driving a 4runner ever since as my daily driver. now ive graduated and back in nc. gonna transport my z to my own garage now and attempt to revive it. read about my original woes here. its been so long ive forgotten a lot of my z knowledge, and am trying to decide how to go about this. not even 100% sure what the problem is anymore, its been so long. trying to decide if i should attempt to fix it using parts from my spare engines, buy a used engine and swap over all the parts ive accumulated, or buy a long block from coz or the like. obviously the latter would be ideal but not sure if its necessary or plausible, as i dont make much money as a server and still cant get a 'real job' after being done with school over a year. but i cant stand not having my z any longer especially now that its parked right down the road from me and not 4 states away. what are your opinions?
